LSV-Aarau

"LSV-Aarau" stands for the landscape transformation of the city of Aarau. The website documents how the landscape and urban appearance of Aarau changed over a period of about 1920 to 2020, roughly 100 years. Created on 1 December 2020 as part of the geography class at the Neue Kantonsschule Aarau, the goal was to observe and document the changes in my own residential community. The site is divided into several sections: image analysis (comparison of old and new photographs), map analysis (changes based on maps), statistical data (numbers and data on development), personal reflection, a photo collection, and an aerial view of the city. In an acknowledgment, I mention Mile Petkovic, who provided the equipment and helped with the image material, as well as my parents for their feedback.
